Safety and evidence

Honest about what the science shows.

Regenerative medicine is a promising field, and also one with many exaggerated claims. This is how we work.

Regulatory status: these therapies are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for these uses. In Mexico, cell products are regulated by COFEPRIS. Results vary from person to person, and no outcome is guaranteed.

What we do

  • Review your records before you travel and tell you if a therapy isn't a good fit.
  • Use products with batch traceability and a certificate of analysis.
  • Explain what the clinical studies found, including the trials that didn't show benefit.
  • Work as a complement to your regular medical care, never as a replacement.

What we don't treat

  • Neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, ALS or multiple sclerosis.
  • Cancer, or any condition where we would promise a cure.

Regulatory licences

Our partner laboratory is licensed by COFEPRIS, Mexico's federal health regulator.

Stem Biotech S.A. de C.V., Longevity Clinic's partner laboratory, holds two sanitary licences from COFEPRIS (Mexico's equivalent of the FDA): one as a collection centre and one as a bank of mesenchymal stem cells. Every vial comes with a batch certificate of analysis.

  • COFEPRIS sanitary licence 24-TR-25-006-0001 Holder: Stem Biotech S.A. de C.V.
  • COFEPRIS sanitary licence 24-TR-25-006-0002 Holder: Stem Biotech S.A. de C.V.

The licences belong to Stem Biotech S.A. de C.V. Longevity Clinic is not a laboratory.

Questions

Before you decide, ask.

Straight answers to the questions patients from the U.S. ask us most. More in our guide to stem cell therapy in Mexico and cost.

Are these therapies FDA-approved?

No. Mesenchymal stem cell, exosome and growth factor therapies are not FDA-approved for these uses. In Mexico, cell products are regulated by COFEPRIS, and our partner laboratory holds COFEPRIS licences. We explain the evidence for your specific case, including its limits.

How much does it cost?

Your consultation and your personalized regenerative protocol are free. The cost of the therapy depends on your protocol, and you receive it before you decide to travel. Payments are made in Mexican pesos: at the moment we don't accept U.S. dollars or international cards, so your advisor will explain the available payment options in advance.

Do you speak English?

Yes. Your advisor can assist you in English by WhatsApp, and your consultation and follow-up can be in English.

How many trips will I need?

Usually one per session. The review and the protocol design happen before you travel, the application takes about 45 minutes, and follow-up is remote. If your protocol includes more than one session, we tell you from the start.

What results can I expect?

Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. In some areas, such as knee osteoarthritis and skin quality, clinical trials show favorable results; in others the evidence is still preliminary. Your physician will tell you which applies to your case.

What should I send for the free review?

Recent lab results or imaging (MRI, X-rays) with their reports, a list of your medications and supplements, a summary of diagnoses and surgeries, and what you would like to improve. For skin or hair, clear photos in natural light.
